Green Monster - Framingham - 04/07/10

Placed by Umass72 on 5/4/07.  This is my first of the Green Monster series.

Parked at the suggested parking area.  Was initially concerned by the big "No Trespassing" sign between the parking and where the cache was located.  Luckily upon some investigation I found that if you start down the abandoned roadway to the left the trails swing around and you see that you went around some private property but are in a public area (So just don't bushwhack straight to the cache and you will be fine).  Nice little bridge on the old, closed off connector to the High School.

I followed the trails alongside the river toward the cache, This area is really nice and with a little TLC this could be turned into a very nice recreational area.  there is a slight hill and wide open tree covered area along the river.

Upon approaching the cache location had to do a little limboing as the trail was blocked by a big downed tree with no easy way around it.

Cache was found in good condition very easily.  It was in the first place I looked which was a really nice spot.  As usual I took nothing, left an EMS pencil.  Recorded the Green Monster Final information although have no idea if/when I will do the rest of the series.
