The Charles river trail is a really nice walking/biking/running path along the Charles river through Waltham, Newton and Watertown. At each trailhead there is a carved granite pillar.
As you round the bend approaching ground zero you find a very large bridge continuing the trail over the water.
And also a retired but still standing railroad bridge
Upon finding the really cute cache container I was startled by it at first until I realized what it was. Nice container just too bad it was a micro, this area could certainly hide a regular sized.
